Summer in the Dolomites

Summer in Val Gardena’s mountains is fabulous. The skies are remarkably clear, the air is limpid, the meadows are covered in sweet-smelling flowers, and the woods are enchanting. Above all, the Dolomites - the so called "Monti Pallidi” (Pale Mountains) - are majestic. Summer in the Gardena Dolomites is also bursting of dynamism: golf, horseback riding, tennis, acrobatic parks...

Sassolungo

The main peak of the Sassolungo mountain range in the Gardena Dolomites is a renowned climbing attraction and a great challenge for climbers. Sassolungo (3,181 m) - with Punta delle Cinque Dita, Punta Grohmann, Dente, and Sassopiatto - is a truly unique range as well as being a veritable symbol of Val Gardena.
